Hi, Arindom
Tele-converters degrade image quality by softening image detail, so I use them only as a last resort.
My longest telephoto lens is 400mm. I rarely use long lenses as my style of photograpy dictates that I get relatively close to the subject, in order to capture a sense of the individual animal’s character and personality, which is impossible to achieve at a long distance. This negates the need for long lenses. My most-used lens is a 70-200mm f/2.8 AF VR zoom.

Is there any specific reason for not using the teleconverters? I dont see any long telephoto lense also.
